B. Chir.Sci (MqU)
Doctor of Physiotherapy (MqU)
Clinical Pilates Practitioner
Lisa graduated from Macquarie University with a Doctor of Physiotherapy. She joined the Cremorne Physio team after gaining experience in intensive care, spinal injury rehab and corporate health.
Lisa has completed further training in Women’s Health. Being a physiotherapist working in women’s health includes the evaluation, treatment and education of women throughout the stages of life. She has a particular interest in prevention and management of pre and post natal injuries. See our Women’s Health page for more information on how Lisa can help you.
She also has a passion for the sporting world, being an athlete of many years. This led her to conduct her thesis on elite international soccer players – the results of which have been used by high profile soccer teams such as Sydney FC.
Being a keen sportswoman, Lisa has participated in many sports including soccer, netball, tennis and running. In addition to on-field play, she has also taken part in many state and club level sporting competitions as a first aider.
Lisa believes that good preparation and specific training can play a fundamental role in the treatment and rehabilitation of most musculoskeletal injuries. She also believes that this specific training for sports and injuries improves overall function, performance and limits re-injury.
When Lisa is not in the clinic, she enjoys keeping active and loves a fun run! Her goal is to run a half marathon (without giving up). You’ll see Lisa on the weekend at her favourite brunch spots, critiquing their coffee with friends.
